Gleiwitzer Hutte Hostel (Austria, Salzburg)
Hostel "Gleiwitzer Hutte" is a stone cottage with a sloping roof and shutters that was built in 1900 and lies at an altitude of 2176m above sea level.
The hostel is located on the northern edge of the Glockner group in the National Park near the peaks: Rottenzink (2510m), Imbachhorn (2472m) Messerfeldkopf (2446m), Vorderes Spitzbrett (2531m) and many others. To the shelter can be reached in several ways, one way is well marked trail on the left bank Hirzbaches - overlooking the Hirzbachwasserfall.
In the middle of hostel, you can feel the atmosphere of the Lower Silesia region because of the hostel rooms are named Silesian city names: Opole, Myslowice, Katowice, Bytom, etc.
